Fuck. Windows won't work on Cecil's POS. Fuck. It froze and then said that the OS didn't support it. We have Win 98 for the love of god. I don't want to go back to school and I need to go by Teri's. Damn. Her puter isn't working. *screwed, royally fucking screwed*
~~EDIT~~2:20 ~~Great. Just fucking great. Now when I try to open Word, it freezes the whole damned puter. Fuck. No printer, no word processor. I had motivation, and now I can't write it.
~~Edit~~2:40 ~~Anyone got a puter I can borrow?

So I need to write that History paper today and tomorrow, and I have four days to do all those astronomy things, and I also need to study for my history final. I need to finish my detailed piercing piece for jewelry, I have <2 class periods to do that, which means I'll be doing over time in the art lab. I need to look at/study the New Pretest in First Aid, so I can skip class on thursday and just study. I need to make up my finals schedual and projects due calendar so I can get a more realistic view on this. I need to stop thinking I don't have time to do them, I do have the time, I simply won't be able to do as many of the things other people want me to do.
We tried to go to the public Beltane ritual last night, like we do every year, and nobody else showed up. Cassidy tried to meet us there, but either couldn't find us or got lost trying- I'm sorry I couldn't give you better directions, I've never driven there so I don't normally pay attention. Then my phone lost service and he couldn't have called me if he tried, so we gave up around 7:45 and left. There was no mention anywhere that the ritual was cancelled or moved to another spot, so I'm confused as to why it didn't happen.
The stupid awards ceremony on Friday was postponed till Tuesday because all the Power was out in the school/that part of downtown. So I spent two hours getting dressed to find it completely unneccesary. We had dinner with Dano and his new girlfriend Joni. We finally got to meet her.. he's been hiding her from us. My maid-of-honor-to-be, Michelle, went with us, as she drove two hours to get to the ceremony and was all dressed up as well. Then we came back to our apt. and watched Bridget Jone's II and took her back to her car. So we get to do the whole thing all over again on Tuesday. Grrrrrr. I don't like getting dressed up . It's annoying and girly, and I'm not that prissy.
Cecil's making me pancakes, so I'm gonna go butter him up for more fun...... :)

My sister- the one with thyroid cancer- has a bile infection in the entire lower half of her torso. If it gets into her bloodstream, she'll die. The doctors sent her home. Why aren't they fixing it? She also has a new spot of necrobiosis on her foot, which may have to be amputated if it doesn't heal or starts spreading further. I need a hug. And someone to get drunk with...

My granpa is in the hospital in Dallas. They found him yesterday morning in a diabetic coma with a blood sugar of 2. It took most of the day to get it up to 90, I think my mom said ten hours. He had heart surgery this time last year, and they're not sure how much damage the coma did to his heart. Please send him prayers/reiki/energy... He's the closest of all of my grandparents to me, the only one I really got to know. I've not made it down there in a year and half or so and I really wanted to see him and get his blessing. I want him here for my wedding.. He's my granpa.. I know he's hurting, but I want the chance to say goodbye at least...

His 1493-civil war to present
Make up Exam, #3
April 19, 2005
1: How did Europe become embroiled in the First World War?
After Ferdinand was killed, Austria sent a message of challenge to Serbia- a challenge that was almost impossible to meet. When Serbia failed, Austria declared war on them, thus incurring Russia’s wrath at them trying to take the Slavic states. Russia then declared war on Austria. Then Germany, in an attempt to fulfill a promise of aid to Austria, also entered the war. It was all downhill from there. Russia’s involvement brought France in and Germany wanted to take down the French/Russian Alliance. First, it would defeat the French. The delays from the resistance of the Belgians, French and British forces and the unexpectedly fast mobilisation of the Russians upset the German plans, and the Central Powers were forced to fight a war on two fronts. The Ottoman Empire joined the "Central Powers" (Mainly Germany and Austria-Hungary) some months later.
2. Why were Americans disillusioned after our participation in the War?
Americans were disillusioned because of several key factors: First, due to America’s involvement in the First World War, we became overdue for a Private Interest Era, thus when we did get to be irresponsible and focus on personal goals instead of public goals, instead of being responsible, we were completely irresponsible. Second, Americans set impossible, unrealistic goals for the war, goals they soon discovered were not met. Finally, Americans were just sick of ‘noble, just causes’. They were sick of putting other nations first and wanted to start putting themselves first.

To much to do, to little time to do it in. I have six freaking projects due for astronomy that I was just handed, because our new prof is an idiot and thinks we can do them with NO FUCKING BACKGROUND!!!! Anybody out there good at astronomy? I can't figure some of this out and it's due next week. I also need to finish that history thing, and I've yet to find my stupid take home test from first aid. I'm way over-stressed and I need time to sort through all this shit but I can't seem to find it. In addition to all that, I also have real-world problems, such as trying to start working, getting the t-bird, etc. Arrrgh.. I'm done. I'm gonna go eat something...

So I completed:
Reticulation project (came out really well, I was suprised)
2/3rds of the chain project. I'll finish that next week and start on the next piercing project.
Getting info on Dad's credit card (decided I didn't like it)
Quitting torturing myself about algebra (I figure, if I was meant to finish this class this semester, I wouldn't be failing it)
That's it, although I plan to have more done today, just as soon as I go home and get me some food. For whatever reason (possibly because I all but skipped breakfast) I've been starving all damn day. Oh well, that's fixed when I get home. I need to do a real update, but I hate writing personal stuff on school comstupids. I'll see you guys later..

Schedule for Fall 2005:
Computer Concepts (Required) MW 8:30-9:50am
Jewelry II (recommended elective) MW 10:00-12:50pm
American Federal Government (Required) Tuesdays 5:30-8:20PM.
I'll probably have to go to admissions to make them find me a required/recommended class on Monday afternoons, I'd rather not take two night classes. My history teacher gave us a 15point extra credit quiz today. I'm glad I know when the Roaring Twenties Roared. Lol.
To do list for this week:
Finish reticulation project, cut out piercing project.
Laundry!!
Get info on Citibank credit card that my dad has.
Get info on Dell comstupid deals.
Start looking for new apts./rent houses/duplexes.
Get info on Insurance for T-bird.
Call Darren, make sure check got there, find out status of T-bird and when I can have it.
Make sure Insurance on Lincoln has been terminated.
Stop torturing myself cause I'm failing algebra.
Do take home test for History (Does anyone know anything about A) Napoleon's part in WWI, even though he was dead. Or B) Roosevelt's approach to solving the problems of the Great Depression? I missed those two parts, even though I think he didn't do the one about Napoleon in this class.)
Paint Kendra's windchimes
And anything else I feel like spray painting silver.
Finish take home cheat sheet for First Aid that I've had since the second class.
GET SOCIAL SECURITY CARD!!! (MUST HAVE BY THURSDAY!)
Finish schedule for fall semester.
I'm sure I'll think of more I need to do later, but that's it for now.. Wish me luck as I go start....

So I finally got ahold of a comstupid long enough to catch up on my friends list.. Sorry guys, I'm going to look into buying a new pc soon. In the meantime it's a few minutes here or there at the school pc's.
Went down to Rowan and Ryan's this weekend, carpooled with Dano. Went to the whole opening weekend of Scarby. Much funness. I've never been to Scarby before, as it's in Texas and I live in OK. I was pleasantly suprised. I rather enjoyed it and wasn't as bored as I thought I would be.... (joke, guys..)I didn't get sunburned at all, even though my burn from the weekend before has now started peeling.
I got a make-up test from history on Thursday when my car refused to start until two hours after the test. 5 essay questions, one extra credit, 2-3 paragraphs each, due when I complete it. YEA!! It's actually probably a good thing my car wouldn't start, as I hadn't really had time to prepare for that test and the best I probably would've made was a C.
I'm failing algebra, missed the withdrawl date by one day and my teacher's being a dick and won't administrative withdraw me. So I'm going to flunk and have to take the GPA damage and the class all over again. Bastard.
Anywho..I'm going to go to history and be good and try to listen to the nice teacher who just saved my grade. :) Have a great day, Y'all!!
:EDIT: Oh yea.. I got the Substitute Teaching Job!!!!!!!!!! I start getting work in on the 23rd. YEA YEA YEA!!

Last weekend:
Friday: Ran around all day and finally got to go get Samantha to come over to stay the night before faire. Got just a little drunk, due to trying to drink to many shots of tequila on an empty stomach after a year and a half hiatus from the stuff. It wasn't bad, and I didn't get a headache. All in all a fun evening.
Saturday: Got up at the crack of dawn, got dressed for faire, went to Dano's and piled in his car. Went to McDonalds, ate. Got to faire, realized we forgot sunblock, got sunburned, although Sammy's was about ten times worse than mine, got a kiss from Amber, ate yummy food, listened to fun music, had a lot of general fun. Went to Applebee's and got salmon and shrimp, ate almost half of it, gave the rest to the guys. Got back to Dano's and piled in our car, drove Sammy home, came home and collapsed.
Sunday: rather non-descript, don't remember most of it.
This week so far sucks. Teri's house got broken into and ransacked, although they didn't take much, it looked like they were planning on coming back. In the midst of trying to straighten her house, my dad calls and says he's hurt and on the ground and can't move. So we rush over there, and he's sitting on the couch, after apparently discovering he can to move. He bruised some ribs and is in pain, but it's nowhere near as bad as he made it sound.
I found out that due to my jewelry teacher's lack of explaining, I have four weeks to do four projects. Fan-fucking-tastic. I might get them done, I probably won't. I have a history test thursday that due to everyone's crisis, I have yet to study for. I'm doing that now. I have an algebra test next Wed. that promises to be a bitch.
I get to go to Scarby this weekend, which actually makes me happy. Cecil's a sweetie.. he tries and tries to make me feel better but I'm just to stressed right now to see straight. People better get their acts together fast. *off to type up notes*

Yea.. I actually got pulled over. For going 57mph in a 55mph notoriously high-tolerance zone. Problem was, I was the only person there, and apparently the cop was bored. Shoot me. I didn't get a ticket, but only because I've never been pulled over for speeding. I've been pulled over for... hmm... deliberately driving badly and highly speeding (80 in a 55) to get a cop to pull me over so I could have an escort and stay safe from the two guys chasing me; having mega car problems and they were afraid my car was gonna explode (that's a funny story, actually..), yet again for car stuff, but this time it was dead at the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and I didn't have a cell phone and it was snowing, that time the cops spent three hours trying to fix it themselves, and then escorted me to a store for a battery, and back to the car, where they installed the battery. They even let me play with the lights, but I didn't wanna turn the siren on cause it was loud.... Never have I been pulled over for speeding. Guess it's time to update the FOP stickers on the back of the car.
In other news, we set a date!! March 12, 2006. I went and bought a wedding planner book and a bridal magazine this morning, on the way to school, before I was pulled over. Then I went by Cecil's work and got a hug and condolences for my almost-ticket, and now I'm at school supposedly studying for history... I guess I should go do that, huh?

Ok, so I have either A) a sinus infection from hell , B) a cold that won't go away, along with laryngitis (sp?) or C) yet another bout of Tonsillitis. Yuck. I can't seem to get it to go away. I finally caved last night and had Squishy go get me some sudafed so I could maybe breathe at least through my mouth, and that helped a tiny bit, but my throat is refusing to let me swallow anything other than liquids. As I was pouring my hard-earned money down the drain -er- into my gas tank this morning, I stopped and got some green tea with mega vitamins and opened a capsule of echinacia into it as well, I hope it helps. I refuse to get any sicker. I'm off to class now:)

Hey guys.. I'm trying to put together a smashing resume, so I need reference letters from any and all of you who are willing to write me one. If you have a corporate or buisness letterhead, that's even better. With me trying to be a substitute teacher, I have to have a massive amount of references due to my age. (Yet again, my age always bites me in the ass) They want to know that I'm reliable, adaptable, responsible, etc. That's just fine by me, but that means my friends, teachers, and employers all have to write me reference letters. What fun!!! Anyways, I'd appreciate any help y'all can give me:)

Got the app. for Sub-ing. Will see how that goes.
Got an 89 on the history test I barely studied for. He gave me 15 points of extra credit instead of the specified 10 because he really liked my b.s.-ful essay on Public Purpose and Private Interest Eras and their impact on Americans today. I will love Mr. Cross forever for making me the Queen of Bullshit.
I really should get ready for the class at noon, but I don't wanna go learn stuff I already know... waaaa. I may ask the teacher if she can give me the info she wants me to know and I can test with the rest of the class but skip the lectures. Two hours twice a week of something I already know all the ins-and-outs of is not something I want to waste energy on.
My Buggie (turus_fada) went off to Italy and Spain. She'll be back in April, but I'll still miss her.
Congrats to Erika for getting a good job!! Now pray for me to get one:)
I am now going to go to class... Yippee hooray. I'll see y'all on the flipside:)
P.S.
Question for Dano: Will you be offended if I trade the lincoln to Darren for a car that runs? The estimates I got on it for just the minimal work to make it run are over 2 grand and we really cannot afford it. I wanted to check and make sure you wouldn't be offended before negotiating the deal out with him.

So I dissapeared off the face of the planet. Sue me. Here's your longed for update:
School: Thought I'd aced my algebra test before spring break, was all happy and proud of myself and all, got it back today and it was all of 62!!! Waaaah... I don't know how that happened, cause I thought I did everything right. Damnit. Gotta go talk to teacher and make him fix my problems. Yea, that'll happen. *sad*
Car: Have car, car has no water pump and has crack in head gasket. May see if Darren will trade me for one of his with less problems, as heis a mechanic and can fix the lincoln on his own time and that's all that's really wrong with it, so it would be worth a trade, I think, anyways... Am borrowing Terrent's car till he gets a license and can drive it. By that point I hope something will work out.
Phone: Back up and running, 346-5983.
Cecil: Adorable as always, addicted to stupid Metroid Prime, is being very helpful and patient with all my ups and downs this last week.
Me: WAaaaaaay to fucking stressed out. Sick of being tired and sick and having headaches. Want eveything to fix itself so life can be less stressful or my brain may explode.
Trying tostart Substitute teaching, waiting for Apr. 6th and the workshop. I'll know more then.
Our internet is down, so lj visits are limited to school and mom's house when I have the time at either/or. I'll see you guys later:)

A year and six days ago my grandad died. I now know why I've been so teary lately. I also know why I've been so clingy to poor Cecil. My mind, being what it is, decided to miss that day so that I wouldn't let it get in the way of the test I had to take. It did anyways, I just didn't know why. I can't believe it's been a year. It feels like yesterday. I still remember exactly what I was doing and where I was. I had moved out of my parents house for the first time, and was staying with my friend. I walked in after school and picked up the ringing phone to hear my mom say 'Grandpa Tony died this afternoon. You need to come home. Your dad and I are leaving at 4 am to go to CT for the funeral.' I couldn't go because of midterms. I wanted so badly to be able to just go and say goodbye to the man I've always considered to be my grandfather. He's actually my step-grandpa on my dad's side. Dad's dad died before my brother was born. Granddad Tony was always smiling, whenever I think of him, I see him smiling that goofy grin just as if he had just told a joke and was very pleased with himself. When my car was stolen, they took the bear he'd given me when I was born, along with all the letters from him and grandma and the only picture I had of him. I know they were just things, and what is important is that I remember him, but those things always gave me a real, tangible, physical connection to him when he was so far away. I could never understand why someone would steal something that meant so little to them and so much to me. I miss my granddad. I wish he was still around, so that when I go up there this summer to visit grandma the he would be there with his bear hugs and smiles. I gotta go find a tissue.
